Kristina

Hello and welcome! I’m Kristina, a dedicated medical doctor with a deep-rooted passion for integrating traditional and modern healing practices to foster holistic well-being. My journey in medicine began with conventional medical training, which laid the foundation for my understanding of human health and disease. However, my curiosity and belief in the power of holistic healing led me down additional paths of wisdom.

Beyond my medical degree, I am a licensed acupuncturist and an Ayurvedic nutritionist. This unique combination allows me to approach health and wellness from a truly integrative perspective, blending the precision of Western medicine with the ancient wisdom of Eastern traditions. My approach is centered around the belief that true healing occurs when the body, mind, and spirit are in harmony.

In addition to my formal education, I have completed a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT), further deepening my commitment to holistic health practices. Yoga, with its emphasis on balance, flexibility, and mental clarity, is an integral part of my life and something I am passionate about sharing with others.

Here at Qi Sanctuary Yoga Retreat, I offer a range of services designed to support your journey towards optimal health. From personalized medical consultations to acupuncture sessions, Ayurvedic nutritional advice, and yoga classes, I am here to guide you through a tailored wellness plan that addresses your unique needs and goals.

Join me in exploring the rich landscape of holistic health, where traditional wisdom and modern science meet. Together, we will embark on a transformative journey towards a balanced, healthier, and more vibrant you.

MELISSA

My name is Melissa. I’m a yoga teacher based in Berlin, currently in the process of becoming a psychotherapist after graduating from clinical psychology. I certified from a YTT in India (200h) which was influenced by Ashtanga- and Hatha-Yoga although I rather try to be oriented towards the individual than strictly following a certain dogma or style. Bodies and needs are different and we want to respect that.

Coming from the evidence driven subject of psychology, I aim for a holistic yoga practice by combining a scientific based view with a more spiritual approach. My understanding of mental wellbeing is deeply connected to the relationship to our body and the flow of emotions within it. Through yoga we can practice to come out of our mind and into our body. It can help us to become more present and to raise awareness for our emotions as well as our body, our home. In order to explore our mind-body-relationship we will look into various aspects of the asanas and work with our bodies and breath. During our morning sessions we want to create an energetic momentum, move and flow to activate our system while we will calm our nervous system, restore and slow down in our evening sessions. There will be time to reflect on and share your experiences throughout our sessions.

What I learned from yoga is - „Everything is learned to be shared.“

Let’s share a week of yoga practice together in a safe space and learn from each other!
