Kristina

Hello and welcome! I’m Kristina, a dedicated medical doctor with a deep-rooted passion for integrating traditional and modern healing practices to foster holistic well-being. My journey in medicine began with conventional medical training, which laid the foundation for my understanding of human health and disease. However, my curiosity and belief in the power of holistic healing led me down additional paths of wisdom.

Beyond my medical degree, I am a licensed acupuncturist and an Ayurvedic nutritionist. This unique combination allows me to approach health and wellness from a truly integrative perspective, blending the precision of Western medicine with the ancient wisdom of Eastern traditions. My approach is centered around the belief that true healing occurs when the body, mind, and spirit are in harmony.

In addition to my formal education, I have completed a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT), further deepening my commitment to holistic health practices. Yoga, with its emphasis on balance, flexibility, and mental clarity, is an integral part of my life and something I am passionate about sharing with others.

Here at Qi Sanctuary Yoga Retreat, I offer a range of services designed to support your journey towards optimal health. From personalized medical consultations to acupuncture sessions, Ayurvedic nutritional advice, and yoga classes, I am here to guide you through a tailored wellness plan that addresses your unique needs and goals.

Join me in exploring the rich landscape of holistic health, where traditional wisdom and modern science meet. Together, we will embark on a transformative journey towards a balanced, healthier, and more vibrant you.

Zorana

I’m Zorana, a passionate yoga practitioner with a strong foundation in Ashtanga and Vinyasa. Additionally, I am a certified traditional Thai massage therapist and Yin yoga teacher.

My journey with yoga began in 2010 as a way to support my intensive dance training. At first, it was simply a physical complement to my practice, but over time, it evolved into something much deeper—a profound exploration of self-awareness, movement, and yogic philosophy. Yoga has not only shaped my body but has also guided me through some challenging moments in life, helping me develop a more compassionate and mindful approach to both my practice and myself.

My teaching style balances structure and creativity, discipline and playfulness. I blend the rigor of Ashtanga with the fluidity of Vinyasa, while also incorporating elements of singing, pranayama, and meditation. Having studied yogic philosophy, I aim to bring not just physical alignment but also mental and emotional awareness into my classes. My goal is to create a warm and supportive space where students can challenge themselves, deepen their practice, and reconnect with their inner selves.

I truly believe that yoga is not about achieving the perfect pose but about enjoying the journey—embracing challenges with a smile, letting go of self-judgment, and finding joy in the process—something we can also carry into our daily lives.

Whether it’s through strong, dynamic flows or the stillness of Yin yoga, I encourage my students to listen to their bodies, respect their limits, and, above all, not take themselves too seriously. After all, some of the best moments in yoga come from laughing at a wobbly balance or simply being present in the now.

At Qi Sanctuary Yoga Retreat, I invite you to join me on this journey of movement, mindfulness, and self-discovery. Let’s flow, breathe, and grow together!
